How To Make Pizza Without Having To Spend So Much Money

Good day everyone I am here to talk about the famous food called pizza. People always buy to satisfy themselves, and I wondered if there were another way people can live without having to spend so much money. I thought of the famous fast food called PIZZA and found a way to save money, by MAKING YOUR OWN PIZZA, with your own toppings and your own way and surprisingly, if you put your best to it, you can make your pizza even better than you thought. So good luck as you make YOUR HOMEMADE PIZZA.

                                      INGREDIENTS
  - oil, for greasing,
·       * 400g (13 oz) strong white flour, plus a little extra for
  dusting the work surface,
·       * ¼ teaspoon salt,
·       * 1 teaspoon caster sugar,
·       * 1½ teaspoons fast-action dried yeast,
·       * 2 tablespoons olive oil,
·       * 200-250ml (7-8 fl oz) warm water. -
  Pizza toppings
·       * 4 tablespoons tomato sauce(ketchup),
·       * 3 fresh tomatoes,
·       * small bunch of fresh basil,
·       * 4 cooked sausages,
·       * 4 chilled frankfurters,
·       * 75g (3 oz) Cheddar cheese.

                         EQUIPMENT
·   *    Pastry brush
·   *    2 large baking sheets
·   *     kitchen scales, measuring spoons and jug
·   *     large mixing bowl
·   *    wooden spoon
·   *     rolling pin
·   *    small sharp knife
·   *    rounded-bladed knife
·   *    chopping board
·   *    grater

WHAT TO DO
   1.     Lightly brush the baking sheets with a little oil.

2.     Put the 400g flour, ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon caster sugar and 1½ dried yeast in the large mixing bowl. Add the oil then gradually mix in just enough of the warm water to mix to a soft but not sticky dough, using the wooden spoon at first then later squeezing together with your hands.

Mixing

    3.      Sprinkle the work surface with a little flour then knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
Roll the dough out very thinly to a roughly shaped rectangle, about 37.5 * 25 cm (15 * 10 inches), then cut into 6 smaller equal-sized squares. Transfer the squares to the baking sheets, leaving a little space between it to allow the dough to rise and spread.

    4.     Spread the top of the pizzas with the tomato sauce, leaving a border of dough still showing so as to handle the pizza squares well. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces on the chopping board, arrange on top of the tomato sauce neatly and well placed then tear the basil into pieces and sprinkle on top.
Thinly slice the cooked sausages and thickly slice the frankfurters. Arrange on top of the tomatoes then grate the cheese and sprinkle on top.
Leave the pizza in a warm place to rise(uncovered) for 30 minutes. Towards the end of the rising time set the oven to 220 Celsius/425 Faranhiet/Gas Mark 7 to allow it to warm up before using.

    5.     Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling. Serve the pizzas warm with juice or chilled water – they are best eaten on the day they are made.

NOTE: You can add your own toppings

 So Enjoy your Pizza
